At Woodcot Primary School, safeguarding is our number one priority and the responsibility of everybody. This page outlines the systems we have in place to ensure the safety of our pupils; it is not intended to replace our safeguarding policy, which can be found on the policies section of this website.
We are clear that safeguarding goes beyond just our statutory responsibility, and it is essential that we maintain high standards of safeguarding practice across our school; to keep our children safe. In order to do this, we constantly review our safeguarding systems to seek the best safeguarding practice.
If you require any further information on safeguarding or are in need of support, please do not hesitate to contact us via the school office or speak to a member of staff.
5 trusted adults approach:
We encourage all of our children to be able to name their "5 trusted adults." These are 5 adults in school who they would trust to talk to should they have a problem either inside or outside of school.
