World Book Day – Thursday 5th March We're excited to be celebrating World Book Day in school! Children are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character. For easy, low-cost costume ideas, visit the World Book Day website: https://www.worldbookday.com/resource-types/dressing-up/ Each child will receive a book token, which can be exchanged for a special World Book Day book or used for £1 off a full-price book. Don't forget our optional 'Book in a Box' challenge! Create a scene from a favourite story in a shoebox and bring it into school during the week beginning Monday 2nd March. Winners will receive an extra book voucher. Please label boxes clearly with your child's name and year group. We can't wait to celebrate the joy of reading together!
